"Against the Odds" Short Film Concept Art

For our Animation Workshop class, I’m working as the background and concept artist for our 3-minute 2D animated short film, Against the Odds. I spent 8 hours in Clip Studio Paint creating these concept art pieces to help establish the look and atmosphere of our magical forest environment.

The designs depict a glowing, enchanted woodland brought to life with painterly textures and luminous details. Bioluminescent mushrooms light the scene with a warm, golden glow, creating an ethereal atmosphere that enhances the sense of wonder and mystery within this fantastical world.
